Support environmental programs in Pierce County by joining or donating to Friends of Pierce County.  Join FPC.

Please join Friends of Pierce County for a showing of The  Future of Food that offers an in-depth  investigation into the truth behind the unlabeled, patented, genetically engineered foods.

 

Presentations from local farmers and farmland preservation organizations will carry the discussion into the local arena of what is happening in Pierce County and how you can be involved.

 

Dick Carkner from Terries Berries will talk about how genetically engineered food impacts farmers. Steven Garrett will discuss loss of farmland in Pierce County. Anuttama Budd, with the Graham Self Reliant Community, will present her topic of "Tomatoes are not Food".
