We are looking for volunteers to join the
following committees:
Environmental
– charged with carrying out ongoing functions that relate to land
use issues and environmental protection and restoration
Legal
– responsible for providing legal advice to board on organizational
and land use issues
Budget
and Finance – responsible for overseeing organization budget and
finances as well as for planning fundraisers and writing grants
Nominating
– charged with maintaining functioning board by reviewing board candidate
applications and providing recommendations to Board
Education
and Outreach
– charged with community outreach and education consistent with FPC
goals
Membership
– charged with obtaining new members (attending community events,
distributing flyers, welcoming new members, maintain membership database
and allocating volunteers to their committees of interest
Communications
– charged with producing organizational materials (i.e. brochures,
maintaining website, newsletters, flyers, business cards, etc)
Ad
hoc Committees
– charged with carrying out one-time tasks that relate to either organizational
governance or projects.
